Assalamualaikum
We have a new member in the family , Ipin - a fighting fish (People in my kampung used to call it Ikan Kaghen or ikan laga). Umar got the fish from his favourite 'kak Lisa' - my colleague at the office, for his b'day.
He loves Ipin very much, early in morning he will feed ipin, and talk to the fish as if that the fish can understand him. In the evening when we arrive home he will again talk to ipin, asking Ipin how was Ipins life for the day, saying sorry that he has to leave ipin at home alone, telling ipin that he will be around only on weekends. Actualy it was quite funny seeing him talking to the fish, but when he told me that he is so happy now that he has somebody that he can talk to, I felt sorry for him.
Being an only child like him must be very lonely, I wouldn't know his feelings since i grew up in a big family with four brothers and five sisters. Umar was always complaining that he doesnt have any sblings to play with. I told him that he is very lucky to get all his umi and abah's attention all the time and he doesnt have to share his toys with anybody. "Well" he said "sometimes I like to share things ". Alaaaaaaaaaa hai nak share la pulak dia ni
Anyway now he is very happy with Ipin as his friend, even though Ipin cannot speak, he can still speak to Ipin. Okayla Umar umi is always with you.
